Candlestick Point Mega-Park

The city redevelopment agency is looking into building up the Bayview/Hunters Point area with housing development, retail and parks... in their presentation there was not one skate park mentioned so I pushed them to acknowledge the need for a skate park out on the point and they said that they are developing the ship yard crane area as a 20 acre  extreme sports venue( skateboarding, ,BMX and stuff). They aren't really clear but since we were the only advocacy group at the meeting, we had their ear. This project is in the early development stage RIGHT WHERE WE NEED TO BE!! These meeting are crucial in us being heard.
